2026 Conference Workshops

Workshop Search

We want next year to focus on connection and reflection by adding time to learn what each other organization is doing in their community and having a consult time, where groups can sign up for a one-on-one specialty consult.

That being said, We are looking for speakers in these specialty areas:

• Relocation: Practitioners live in the community they are serving to build trust and show commitment.

• Reconciliation: The goal is to restore relationships between people and God and between different groups of people.

• Redistribution: This involves sharing resources, such as time, talent, and money, with the community to support its development.

• Leadership Development: This principle focuses on developing leaders from within the community itself, rather than relying solely on outsiders.

• Listening to the Community: Instead of imposing solutions, CCD emphasizes listening to community members to understand their priorities and assets.

• Church-Based: The local church is seen as a central agent for transformation, involving its members and resources in community work.

• Wholistic Approach: This principle addresses the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional needs of individuals and the community as a whole.

• Empowerment: The focus is on empowering community members to become self-sufficient and lead their own development, rather than creating dependency.
